Description |
- The project Analytical eco-scale methods for the determination and speciation of Hg by UV photo-induced derivatization and detection using a fully-miniaturized experimental spectrometric system (ECOSPEC) aims at developing and validation of high sensitivity, excellent green analytical methods for the quantification of total Hg and its speciation as inorganic and organic forms.
- Establishing the optimal conditions for integration of components and operation of the UVCV-µCCP-OES miniaturized experimental laboratory system as TRL 4;
- Evaluation of the analytical performances of the eco-scale laboratory methods for the determination and speciation of Hg as Hg2+ and CH3Hg+ by UVCV-µCCP-OES using the miniaturized instrumentation;
- Development and validation of new eco-scale laboratory methods as TRL 4 using UVCV-µCCP-OES for the analysis of environmental samples and foods, and comparison to the demands of European legislation and classical methods, CV-AFS, TD-AAS and CV-ICP-OES;
- Demonstration of the utility and capability of the new eco-scale methods and preparation of internal operating procedures.
