Light

There are two different ways in which the behaviour of light may be regarded, both having their own qualities and deficiencies.According to Newton's theory, light consists of some massless particles called photons. The other theory (Huygens' wave theory) considers light as two overlapping waves: an electrical one and a magnetic one. It may be classified in terms of:

• the wavelength l (the same for both waves);
• the amplitude of the two waves (E and B).

The accepted theory regarding the light is a combination of the two theories, that is, you consider the nature of light according to the experiment being carried out. So, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday the light can be considered as consisting of photons and on Tuesday and Thursday it can be viewed as a wave. At the weekend the light is nor wave neither made up by photons, because you don't study anything.
