MS laboratory
The MS laboratory located at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering within BBU (lab. 205) contains the following instruments:
- SYNAPT™ G2 System with Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization (MALDI)
- SYNAPT™ G2 System with nanoESI and ESI ion sources
The SYNAPT Mass Spectrometry platform offers flexible and advanced measurement options, ensuring comprehensive sample analysis.
The SYNAPT G2 platform is designed for complex mixture analysis where standard mass resolution is insufficient. Its ability to measure Collision Cross Section (CCS) provides a third dimension of separation (orthogonal to chromatography and mass).
