       This project has as main aim to propose and evaluate from techno-economical and environmental impact perspectives innovative chemical looping methods for CO2 capture applied to various energy conversion processes (combustion, gasification, catalytic reforming etc.) of fossil fuels and renewable energy sources (e.g. biomass). Evaluated energy conversion processes will poly-generate decarbonised energy vectors emphasizing systems for hydrogen and power co-generation with CCS with following main characteristics: plant capacity 400 – 500 MW net electricity and up to 200 MW hydrogen (LHV), 0 – 100 % flexibility degree in hydrogen and power co-generation ratio, min. 90 % carbon capture rate.
