Director: Prof. Dr. Tiberiu Frentiu
Member: Dr. Covaci Eniko
Employment period:2025 - present
Webpage: WHIGREEN
Project description:The aim of the proposed project is is the development and validation of ex-situ/on-site microanalytical methods with high green and white degree at TRL4 level for food and environmental quality control by determining elements such as Hg, Cd, Pb, As, Se, Cu and Zn. The methods will be implemented on a fully miniaturized microtorch optical emission microspectrometer of capacitively coupled plasma with electrothermal vaporization (SSETV-µCCP-OES) as an experimental demonstrator at TRL3 level. It is in view the improvement of analytical performance by coupling with combustion-assisted digestion with and without solid phase extraction (μ-SPE) using C18 silica cartridges or functionalized silica adsorbents for single elemental and multielemental determinations.
